About
St. John the Baptist's Baseball program is available for eligible Kindergarten through 8th Grade students. The baseball season begins in March and ends in June. SJB participates in CYO for 14U and 12U. SJB has established a relationship with Burtonsville Athletic Association (BAA) - now, SJB can field teams made up of SJB parishioners, students, and friends in the BAA leagues from K-5 grade. Depending on the number of interested players, we may field SJB BAA teams for Gr. 6-7 and 8-9.

Waitlist for CYO
Registrations received after the Feb. 9th registration deadline will be put on a waiting list and added to a team only if there is enough room. To avoid the waiting list, please register before the Feb 9 deadline. If you register before the deadline, your son is guaranteed a spot on a baseball team.

Can I participate in another activity while also playing SJB Baseball?
Several SJB players also play for the BAA recreational league baseball team in a joint coordination between the two programs. Some players also play other sports including spring basketball. We are able to support some scenarios on a case by case basis, though we do have an expectation that you attend a majority of the practices and games. Please contact Baseball Commissioner Michael Diokno at michael.diokno@gmail.com to discuss your situation.
Want to Coach?
SJB is always looking for coaches. Contact Michael Diokno michael.diokno@gmail.com.
Refunds
If you register and your player decides not to play, we will refund your registration fee upon request.
